Dr Rangraj Setlur retired from the armed forces after 34 years of service. He completed his post-graduation in Anaesthesia from the Armed Forces Medical College, study leave in intensive care medicine from the University of Iowa, USA, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Ireland. He has been Professor of Anaesthesia at the Universities of Maharashtra, West Bengal and Karnataka.
