Block Postings For Msw Students

St Marthas hospital offer a month-long posting for MSW students. The student will be posted in 10 of prime depts connected with hospital functioning, specially designed to satisfy the block postings requirements of MSW interns.

Objectives

  • To orient the students, and make them understand how the hospital functions, its compliances, its laws and regulations, its governance’s structure incorporated, and policies adopted.
  • Hands on experience on interacting with patients and their attenders; attempt solving their problems.
  • Postings to 10 prime departments of interest (MRD, HRD, casualty, Out and inpatient, laboratories, dialysis, PMR, Blood bank, infection control, psychiatry dept. etc)
  • Hands on experience to Organize a medical camp or conduct an awareness event on a health commemoration day connected with hospital/health.
  • Exposure visits to urban settings ie., waste picker settlements / conservancy workers, orphanages, schools, and slums.
  • Crowdfunding exercises.

Fees

The registration fee is 5000/- (for < 30 days of postings) and 10,000/- (for 2 months) which is non-refundable.

Eligibility

The candidates should bring the following for eligibility to join the program

  • authorization letters from the college
  • College identity card + Adhaar card
  • Necessary assessment forms mandatory to complete the program etc.
  • log book / diary.
