About
The Community Health Department at St. Martha's Hospital was established in 1986 and is
committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to socially disadvantaged and
marginalized groups, promoting health equity and social justice.
The department believes that mobile camps are the most cost-effective way to reach urban
populations. Temporary clinics, along with health education and counselling stations, help in
providing immediate and holistic care. The Community health department has an outreach
multispeciality clinic at Uttarahalli. The department has established the DOTS program for
tuberculosis patients at St. Martha’s hospital.
