She completed her MBBS from AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore (2019) and has pursued MD in Community Medicine from prestigious St John's Medical College, Bangalore (2023)
Dr. Coates has secured 8th Rank in MD, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
She has worked as a Consultant in the Division of Occupational Health, St John's Medical College, Bangalore for a year.
She was involved in a project which dealt with the wellbeing of women at the garment factories across 10 States in the country. Dr. Coates has publications and has done research studies on Maternal and child health, Occupational health, Adolescent health and Non-communicable diseases.
