Dr. Punith N is currently working as Consultant in Department of General and Minimally Invasive Surgery at St. Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore, India. He completed his under graduation(MBBS) in Sri Devraj Urs Medical college in 2010, other than academics represented RGUHS in sports(Volleyball team) thrice, won Best Sports Person award of year 2010 graduation year.
After finishing MBBS, worked for 3 years in Accident and Emergency department of Sri R.L Jalappa Medical college, Kolar and Narayana Hrudayala, Kolar. Gained experience in cardiac emergencies.
Later in 2013, Joined DNB General Surgery in St. Martha’s hospital, Bangalore. Completed Post Graduation in 2016. Joined as Senior registrar in St. Martha’s hospital in August 2016, presently as Consultant in department of general and minimally invasive surgeries with 8 years of experience.
He has over 6 publications including case reports and scientific papers in various journals. He is life time member of Surgical Society of Bangalore(SSBASICC), The Association of Surgeons of India(ASI), Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-surgeons(IAGES).
He was Executive Member of SSBASICC for 4 years and actively involved in social and scientific activities. Organized Walkathon in 2023 in association with St. Martha’s hospital. Had actively participated and given lectures in Continued Surgical Education Programme(CSEP).
