Dr. Kavya is our plastic and reconstructive surgeon at St Martha's hospital specializing in an array of plastic surgery procedures ; reconstrutive and aesthetics. She has obtained her Bachelor's degree(MBBS), Masters in General Surgery and MCh Plastic Surgery from Bangalore medical college. She also holds diplomas from NBE i.e., DNB in general surgery and Dr NB Plastic Surgery. She has also done an IAAPS accredited aesthetic surgery fellowship.
She specializes in trauma management with special focus on treatment of hand injuries, management of acute burns and post burns sequelae, pediatric plastic surgery, aesthetic surgeries and microsurgery. She previously served as Assistant Professor in Bangalore Medical college. She believes in a holistic approach to the patient providing them with the right knowledge regarding the disease process,pre surgical optimization, treatment options available and with post surgical management to obtain good and aesthetic results along with patient satisfaction.
