Dr. Praveen earned his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davanagere, in 1998 and completed his MD in General Medicine there in 2003. He began his career at St. John’s Medical College Hospital in Bengaluru, where he worked from 2003 to 2014. In 2014, Dr. Praveen joined St. Martha’s Hospital, where he became the Chief of General Medicine Unit III from January to March 2019 and, more recently, the Chief of General Medicine Unit I as of September 2023. Since February 2023, he has served as the Head of the Department of General Medicine and is also a Faculty Diplomate in the National Board Post Graduate program. Dr. Praveen is fluent in Kannada, Hindi, and English.
