Joined at St. Martha’s Hospital in May 1996 as Consultant, went on to become Senior Consultant, and followed by Unit Chief, HOD & Additional Medical Superintendent.
Been a Guide to many Post- Graduate students of Surgery Department. Appointed as City Appraiser/Examiner for FAT exams by the National Board of Examinations to appraise Conduct of DNB programs in General Surgery in various Medical Institutions in Bangalore.
Also conducted External & Internal FAT exams at St. Martha’s Hospital Bangalore.
Have vast experience in Minimally Invasive Surgery- performing routinely Laparoscopic procedures for Gall Bladder Stones, appendicitis, Hernia etc. and also Laser procedures for hemorrhoids (piles), Fistula etc. along with all the General Surgical procedures.
Have done Other Fellowships from International College of Surgeons Association of Surgeons of India.
Also was awarded the “Millennium Gold Medal Award” in 2001 & “Travelling Fellowship in Laparoscopic“ in 2002 by the Surgical Society of Bangalore.
